A person’s smile is one of the most defining and memorable features one has. A radiant, bright, and confident smile is something that people instinctively sympathise with; it makes an impression even at first glance.
A lot of people feel uncomfortable about their smiles, and experience a lack of confidence when asked to smile for a photo shoot, or become self conscious when they laugh or when they are at a job interview. And of course we all know how a beautiful smile acts on the libido of any person, man or woman.
Smile makeovers are a set of dental treatments whose aim is to make your smile more attractive. The treatments involved can range from orthodontry to cosmetic dental surgery. The aim of treatment is to improve the alignment of the jaw, possibly the tooth structure, to change the colour or slant or shape of the patient’s teeth, or indeed correct any problem that may encumber the patient’s smile.
The first step is to come in for a consultation session, where you can discuss with our dentist what it is that makes you feel uncomfortable about your smile, what you would like to change, and what sort of desired outcome you would be happy with. The dentist will also give you his/her professional opinion on the matter, and will then offer a treatment plan that itemises each procedure separately. If more than one option exists, the dentist will be more than happy to go over each option with you, so that you can make an informed choice about what is best for your condition and your budget.
After this initial consultation session, you should be aware of what aspects of your smile can be changed or altered, and how much that will cost. Each option will be expounded in detail, allowing you to choose the one that is best for you. Be aware that individual needs might call for variations in price and the number of times that you have to visit our clinic. If the options discussed, offered or decided at the consultation session are unsatisfactory or too expensive, you can always cancel, and you will only be charged for the dentist’s time, which is covered in our £37 consultation fee. You may have to also pay for x-rays if they were taken. We accept x-rays from different hospitals as well, as long as they are no older than 3 months.
The cost of a smile makeover varies according to the sort of treatments that are involved. Since it is not a set procedure, but rather a combination of different dental treatments, a consultation is necessary in order to give you a price. The procedures depend on the condition of your teeth, what you want to have done, what types of materials you want used, and what sort of medical history you have. When the final price is determined, based on the consultation discussion, all treatments are broken down into various components on the treatment plan - the what, where, and how much for each process. So while our dentist will certainly give a professional recommendation, you will be free to make your own well-informed decision.
